2004

Classic and AOTC

Four Star Wars Keepsake ornaments arrived this year; three from the Original Trilogy and one from Attack Of The Clones. Continuing the tradition, Hallmark enclosed a Memory Card in each of this year's ornaments as well. There were no Miniature ornaments created in 2004.

Chewbacca and C-3PO represent the eighth offering in the Star Wars Series. Posed from the scene at the end of The Empire Strikes Back, Chewie carries a disassembled Threepio in a soft mesh bag on his back as he is firing a blaster while running through Cloud City. This heavy ornament was sculpted by Kristina Kline and is 5" tall.

Price: $ 14.95 US / $ 19.95 CDN

The Attack of the Clones ornament this year is Anakin Skywalker. Standing 5" tall, Anakin is posed with lightsaber aloft, sculpted by Kristina Kline as well.

Price: $ 14.95 US / $ 19.95 CDN

Something different was created this year as well - A Star Wars: A New Hope Theatre One-Sheet ornament. This 4.5" by 3.5" framed poster features a "Special Lighting Effect"… basically it has a clip in the back that can be attached to a tree light to illuminate the classic image. Unfortunately, until 2012 at least, this is the only "theatre poster" to be created in the Star Wars line. Dill Rhodus is also the Keepsake Artist for this unique ornament.

Price: $ 19.95 US / $ 28.95 CDN

This year's "Magic" ornament features "Voice and Light": the Star Destroyer and Blockade Runner from A New Hope. Sculpted by Dill Rhodus, the Destroyer measures 5" long, 3" wide and 1.5" tall and the tiny Tantive IV is only 1" long. When the attached cable is plugged into a light socket, the Destroyer lights up - and by pressing a small button on the ship's underside, we can hear Threepio and Artoo lament their predicament.

Price: $ 28.00 US / $ 41.00 CDN
