In 2006, Hallmark completely revamped the packaging for its holiday ornaments. Now the boxes were white with gold lettering, no matter if they were "Magic", Series or Miniatures. As well, they no longer included the "Holiday Memory Card" with each ornament. Let's start off 2006's line with the incredible "Magic" ornaments:

Imperial AT-AT and Rebel Snowspeeder from The Empire Strikes Back. This "Magic" sculpture was created by Robert Hurlburt and features an amazingly-detailed Walker with Luke's snowspeeder whipping it's trip wire around the legs of the behemoth. The AT-AT stands an impressive 4" tall, the snowy base is 4" wide and a little over 2" deep while the miniscule speeder is a mere .75" square. After pressing the button on the back of the ornament, you'll hear the sound of the AT-AT crunching in the Hoth snow and firing as the speeder races around.

The other "Magic" ornament that year was the epic scene of Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi dueling on Mustafar from Revenge of the Sith by Kristina Kline. It measures nearly 4" wide, 2" deep and almost 4" tall. When the button on the top of the tower is pressed, it lights up in blue tower and orange lava glows as the sounds of the lightsabers clash and the dialogue from the scene can be heard:

Anakin: "This is the end for you my Master"

Obi-Wan: "You were the chosen one! It was said you would destroy the Sith, not join them! Bring balance to the Force, not leave it in darkness!"

The Series Edition continued this year with Luke Skywalker and Yoda from The Empire Strikes Back. In the famous pose of Yoda on his back sculpted by Kristina Kline, this ornament is 10th in the Series and like others in the set, stands about 4" tall.

The final offering for the year was a set of three Miniatures: and for the first time, non-movie characters had been added to the line. Asajj Ventriss (3" wide, 1" tall), Anakin Skywalker (1.5" wide by 1.5" tall) and Yoda (about 1" square) - the animated characters from the TV Series The Clone Wars in fighting stances, each one sporting lightsabers; sculpted by Lane Feuer.
