2009
The start of the "Exclusives"
Five ornaments were released in 2009.
Price: $ 32.00 US / $ 44.96 CDN
Luke's Landspeeder was also created this year, sculpted by Robert Hurlburt. With quite a bit of distressing, this is a very detailed piece, measuring 5" long by 3" wide. Once again, the ornament doesn't hang level. It would have been better to mount the ring clip beside Luke (between the seats, for example), rather than on the X-34's windshield. By placing it where they did, the speeder points nose-up when hung. Price: $ 22.50 US / $ 22.96 CDN
The Series ornament for 2009 is Han Solo in his Stormtrooper disguise. Number 13 in the Series, Kristina Kline-Gaughran sculpted this 4" tall figure. Rather than a plastic tray or even bubble-wrap inside, for the first time ornaments this year were shipped packed in tissue paper. Price: $ 15.00 US / $ 19.99 CDN
The third "Limited Quantity" ornament was released, this time featuring Greedo from A New Hope. Again, this one was sculpted by Kristina Kline-Gaughran and was first available at the Keepsake Ornament Premiere Event held in July. Posed ready to fire his blaster, Greedo is about 4" tall. Price: $ 15.00 US / $ 19.99 CDN
Once again animated characters from The Clone Wars were released as a set of two Miniature ornaments. This time, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano; both wielding their lightsabers were sculpted by Kristina Kline-Gaughran and Robert Hurlburt. Anakin measures 2.5" tall and Ahsoka about 2.25" tall. Price: $ 15.00 US / $ 19.99 CDN
2009 also marked the first year of Hallmark's Star Wars Exclusives. The first ones were a Shock and Shadow Troopers two-pack from the television series, The Clone Wars. Sculpted by Anna Marra & Kristina Kline-Gaughran, only 700 of these ornaments were available for sale at the San Diego Comic Con. Price: $ 30.00 US
