A-Channel News
"Wired" Interview

Wednesday, May 15th, 2002

A local televison station called the "A-Channel" wanted to do a story for the opening day of Attack of the Clones here in Winnipeg. The Manitoba Star Wars Guild got a few members together; we brought some of our collectibles and spoke on what makes Star Wars so special to us. The host, Laura Hutchison, put footage from the new and classic movies together with our interviews and the spot was aired during the "Wired" feature on both the 6 pm and 10 pm news shows. (There I am in the Star Wars tie in the background.).
I spoke about my Star Wars collection and my experiences both locally and internationally; speaking at conventions in Indianapolis and Denver, writing for Rebelscum.com and doing customs and other artwork related to Star Wars.

That's my Threepio standee looking on...

They showed my 12" Tessk custom, smaller custom figures in front, my oil painting of Obi Wan from Episode 2 and some of my collectibles (that's a Jango Fett soakie from a friend in the United Kingdom).

It was a lot of fun to yet again be involved in promoting both Star Wars and our local Manitoba Guild fan club!
